Two Persian nation, 1 richer, 1 poorer, yet both seems to have the same political faith!
They were pro western & for modernization western style, yet both failed! what ever the reason may be, one can speculate but, it seems that both underestimated that majority of Persian are really fundamentally hardliner Muslims.
Perhaps the Arab Kings understand this, no matter how long their families study or live abroad when they get home, they seem to stick back to their hard line Muslim tradition, the Arab public at large don't feel disconnect to the ruling party and their families, no big revolution as a result.
Just like the Japanese, achieved a modern economy, yet still quite traditional.
Why do the minorities of Persian population who come a broad seem to adapt so fast to western values? in compare to Arabs, Indians, Asians.
Could it be that we feel racially connected to European, so we feel comfortable joining the class and their families?
